While we were at the Northwest Folklife festival in Seattle I had the priviledge of meeting Colin Vance, he is an incredible Banjo Luthier! After admiring each others work we both went home with a new instrument to enjoy! My new fretless banjo has been crazy fun, and Colin tells me he is loving his new Oceana ukulele!  The Langley Ukulele Ensemble from Canada was at the Gorge Uke Camp and they brought a lot of enthusiasm with them. Some of the younger kids loved hanging out in my booth playing all my ukuleles. One gifted musician loved my 8 stringed uke and made it sing so sweet!              We had a great time at the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Fest. met some great folks enjoyed some nice weather and found some new homes for a few of our ukes.
